As we head into this year’s exciting awards season, we want to thank you for your continuous support celebrating our talented ASC Award nominees and honorees!
The ASC’s 100th anniversary has been an important milestone, not just for the Society, but also for the entire filmmaking community. We are proud to continue our founders’ mission - Loyalty, Progress, Artistry. Over the past decade we have expanded our education program to include six master classes annually; we’ve established an industry-recognized technology council, which has provoked many artistic conversations and technical standards. And, our impressive membership roster is comprised of more than 400 of the world’s most talented cinematographers. As we all know, 100 years is a significant amount of time, and the ASC is stronger today than it has ever been.
As a non-profit organization that depends on the generosity of our supporters, we are once again asking for your help in supporting our biggest fundraiser of the year: The ASC Awards. In order to continue to provide you with the highest caliber event and opportunity to pay tribute to elite cinematographers and nominees and other industry professionals, we rely on your increased generosity year after year.
The ASC’s 34th Annual Awards For Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
This year’s distinguished honorees are:
