Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) makes a slow-motion leap to freedom from the clutches of the Matrix's ominous Agents. To film this extreme slow-motion shot, the production utilized Manex Visual Effects' "Flo-Mo" system, which consisted of an array of computer-controlled Canon EOS-A2 still cameras. The resulting frames could be animated and interpolated to achieve any desired frame rate up to 600 fps.
