| Éclair tested a 4K DI process – the facility normally works at 2K — on Le Gant, a film shot simultaneously on 35mm and digitally with the new Dalsa Origin digital data camera. The Origin’s Bayer filter pattern was undone and converted to RGB. Color grading was done using 1K proxies on a CRT display because the facility’s Barco DLP projectors were in use on other projects. | ||
