To help Pfister soften his sources for a birthday-party scene in Wayne Manor, gaffer Perry Evans and his crew clamped 4'x8' frames of diffusion together and either hung them from the ceiling or positioned them on stands. Pfister was impressed with the English crew’s technique, “which gave us terrific diffusion that was 30 feet in front of the light, creating a very soft source in this large, open space.” (Image 2 of 2)
