  These frames are from the sequence diagrammed on the facing page, in which Barris hatches the idea for The Dating Game while his girlfriend (Drew Barrymore) prattles on in the bathtub behind him. The sequence, which ends with Barris making a successful pitch to executives, was captured in camera.
