Angénieux Unveils EZ-3
Customized for both S35 and FF sensors, the EZ series provides interchangeable PL-, RF-, EF- and E-mount compatibility on demand.
Angénieux, in collaboration with Band Pro Film & Digital, Inc., and Jebsen Consumer Products, has expanded its EZ lens series with the 45-165mm T2.3/T3 (S35) / 68-250mm T3.5/T4.5 (FF) EZ-3.
Using Angénieux’s Interchangeable Rear Optics Technology, the EZ series features dedicated rear optical groups customized for both S35 and Full Frame sensors, and provides interchangeable PL-, RF-, EF- and E-mount compatibility on demand.
The EZ-3 includes improvements to the IRO mechanism (user configurable) that enable the change from S35 to FF to be done in five minutes, much faster than on EZ-1 or EZ-2. A new dual-focus scale ring (feet/meters) makes it quick to swap from meters to feet and vice versa.
The Angénieux EZ-3 will make its U.S. debut at the Bild Expo in New York Sept. 6-7 (Booth 424). It will be officially launched in Europe at IBC 2023.
