DJI Releases Avata 360
Users can choose a 360-degree lens or Single Lens mode.
DJI’s Avata 360 drone delivers 360-degree imaging with 1"-equivalent sensors for filming in 8K/60fps HDR video.
The O4+ video-transmission system and obstacle sensing enable users to see farther with a more stable and immersive flight experience. Paired with DJI goggles and motion controllers, the solution delivers FPV thrills. Users can also use the DJI remote controllers to capture a full 360-degree view in a single flight that can be reframed from any perspective, transforming a single take into multiple creative possibilities.
Avata 360 offers two different lenses: the 360-degree lens uses 1"-equivalent sensors that can capture 360-degree images for 8K/60fps HDR videos and 120 MP photos (both can be exported directly or reframed in post), and the Single Lens mode allows creators to use the classic Avata-style filming in 4K/60fps. The O4+ video-transmission system offers strong anti-interference capabilities; enables high-definition, high-frame-rate transmission at 1080p/60fps, and supports a range of up to 12.4 miles.
The drone offers up to 23 minutes of flight time and includes several standard safety features, including nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing and integrated propeller guards. If damaged, the camera lens can be replaced with the DJI Avata 360 replacement-lens kit with tools (sold separately).
