SmallHD has announced the Cine 13, a 13" 4K monitor that can fit into nearly any production scenario.
“With upgraded contrast ratio, resolution, portability, brightness and color reproduction, Cine 13 is a versatile powerhouse that will delight focus pullers and cinematographers alike,” says Dave Bredbury, product manager for CS Cine.
Cine 13 users can view both HD and 4K video on a 13" IPS LCD screen capable of 1,500-plus nits of brightness. It includes 4x independent 12G-SDI inputs/outputs, integrated accessory power ports, a dovetail mounting rail for battery plate or accessory mounting, and a removable bottom cheese rail for additional mounting flexibility. The aluminum unibody chassis weighs 6.8 pounds. Combined with SmallHD’s PageOS 4 tools such as Color Pipe color rendering, Custom False Color and Pomfort Livegrade integration, Cine 13 provides users with a technically accurate view of their shots.
The Cine 13 lists for $4,699 and will begin shipping in late July.
