Bright Tangerine Announces Titan Arm 2, New Solutions for Canon, Sony Cameras

Bright Tangerine has announced the Titan Arm 2 and new cages and kits for select Canon and Sony cameras. All of the solutions can be preordered now.

The Titan Arm 2, which will begin shipping July 30, uses a unique, friction-based system that retains strength even with constant use. The arm is able to independently support itself even when fully unlocked, and when the arm is locked, the monitor end of the arm can still be repositioned. Capable of payloads up to 11 pounds, the Titan Arm 2 can hold monitors, microphones and small lights and cameras. A ratcheting lever clamp allows the loosening and tightening of the arm. For additional positioning freedom, the arm features ball-and-socket joints at either end that can be rotated to optimize placement; the ball-and-socket joints can be mounted with one of several adapters, including standard 1/4" and 3/8" screws and Anti-Twist variants. Bright Tangerine also offers a NATO clamp and corresponding NATO rail.

The Titan Arm 2 is available in three colors: Seaglass (teal), Tangerine (orange) and London Fog (black).

Bright Tangerine’s new solutions for the Canon C400 and C80 cameras and the Sony Venice Extension System Mini will begin shipping this month.

The Create C400 kit for the Canon C400 uses Bright Tangerine’s new Universal Dovetail, which features a unique design for simultaneous DJI RS and Manfrotto 501PL compatibility. This allows users to seamlessly transition their rig from Manfrotto mounts (such as the new Create Baseplate) to DJI gimbals. Additionally, as well as new LeftField kits, Bright Tangerine is offering a standalone Monitor Mount kit that converts the stock Canon LCD viewfinder into a fully articulating monitor.

The Canon C80 LeftField kits are among the first to use Bright Tangerine’s new LeftField Mini, which uses the same Open•UP quick-release system as the full-size LeftField 3. For users upgrading from the Canon C70 to the newer C80, Bright Tangerine is offering a standalone Upgrade Kit, which allows users to use their existing LeftField C70 setup with the C80. There are also dedicated Create kits for the C80; these include the Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4.

Bright Tangerine’s camera cage for the Sony Venice Extension System Mini utilizes the LeftField Mini Baseplate and is available in three kits: Base, Advanced and Expert.
