Elation Canada Opens Doors
The company has also announced the KL Fresnel IP Series.
Elation Lighting has opened Elation Canada, offering its Canadian customers a growing nationwide service network and a physical presence that includes warehousing and a Toronto-based showroom and demo space.
The launch gives Elation a fully integrated North American organization, connecting operations across the United States, Mexico and Canada. Leading the Elation Canada team as national sales manager is Kyle Morton. Lighting-industry veteran Philippe Tremblay serves as regional sales manager for Québec, based in Québec City. Chuck Green, channel account manager at Elation, continues his support role for the Canadian team.
Elation has also expanded its KL “Key Light” Series of LED Fresnel luminaires with the IP65-rated KL Fresnel IP Series. Available in 6" and 8" models, the fixtures project soft-field light across the full color spectrum and meet the standards of broadcast studios and theaters. They are also calibrated with the wider KL and Fuze families.

The KL Fresnel 6 IP is a 250-watt RGBMA LED capable of 7,400+ lumens, and the KL Fresnel 8 IP is a 500-watt RGBMA LED capable of 16,000+ lumens. Both offer high CRI (94) and TLCI (95) values. CMY emulation supports familiar programming styles, and users can fine-tune looks using a virtual gel library or correct color drift with a green–magenta shift adjustment. An internal, motorized 8-60-degree zoom preserves classic Fresnel behavior with the smooth falloff designers expect, and adjustable eight-leaf barndoors allow precise beam shaping.
