Fujinon Cabrio for Canon EF Cameras

NAB 2018: Duclos Lenses converts Fujinon’s 20-120mm XK Cabrio zoom to Canon EF-mount.

Following up on their latest conversion for the MK series of zooms to Sony FZ mount, Duclos has also released a $750 conversion kit for the Fujinon Cabrio 20-120mm XK lens.

Adapting the lens to Canon EF-mount cameras, the Duclos kit comes with billet aluminum sub-mount anodized to match the finish of the Fujinon Cabrio line. When done through Duclos, installation is non-destructive, safely storing and protecting the LDS and /i data pads of the Cabrio 20-120mm, though data transmission is not available after conversion.

The EF-mount flange is stainless steel for reliability and fit. With installation that is optional but complimentary, the mount is incompatible with ZK Cabrio zooms. 

Duclos already offers a few accessories, however, like $25 support post extension, $250 Cabrio lens hood and $59 motor eccentric for wired Heden follow-focus solutions.

With a number of lens accessories, uniquely modified focal lengths, and specialized solutions developed in-house, Duclos is an optics service and repair company based in Los Angeles. Providing both sales and service, they offer demos and testing through optical projection, auto-collimator, vertical collimator and image evaluation software.
