Fujifilm Announces Fujinon UA22x4.8, Instax Mini 13
The broadcast zoom lens will begin shipping in April, and the instant camera will be released in June.
Fujifilm North America Corp. has announced the Fujinon UA22x4.8BERD broadcast zoom lens and the Instax Mini 13 instant camera.
The UA22x4.8 is a portable zoom lens for 2/3"-sensor broadcast cameras, covering the wide to telephoto focal range from 4.8-106mm with a compact (9.9") and lightweight (4.8 pounds) design. Through improvements in lens-processing technology and a design that balances durability and lightweight construction, Fujifilm has decreased weight and size compared to UA18x5.5, reducing the burden of prolonged filming in the shoulder-mounted operation. The lens achieves 4K optical performance across the entire zoom range, and the multi-layer coating HT-EBC ensures high light transmittance and accurate color reproduction.
The Fujifilm UA22x4.8 lists for $39,000 and will begin shipping in late April.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 13 introduces dual timers, with options for two or 10 seconds, giving users the opportunity to be in the shot themselves. The camera’s main features include Close-Up Mode, Selfie Mirror and Auto Exposure adjustment capabilities, as well as Parallax Correction, in which the viewfinder aligns with the lens when using Close-Up Mode.

In tandem with the release of the Mini 13, Fujifilm will update the Instax Up! smartphone app and introduce Instax Mini Pastel Galaxy film, which features a cosmic theme. Instax Up! enables users to digitally scan, import, organize and store photos in one place regardless of which Instax film, camera or printer product they use. The update integrates AI to improve image-scanning precision.
The Instax Mini 13 lists for $93.95 and Instax Mini Pastel Galaxy film lists for $17.99. Both will be released in June.
