G-Technology, a Western Digital company, has opened a studio for creative professionals in its Hollywood office.

Located in Suite 550 at 6555 Barton Ave., the G-Technology Studio demonstrates how the company’s storage solutions can be an integral workflow tool with a diverse array of products, platforms and general production workflow systems.

More than 20 companies — including Arri, Avid, Abelton, AMD, Argosy, Atomos, Atto, Canon, Blackmagic Designs, Eizo, Focusrite, Hedge, HP, Inovativ, Monoprice, Red, Sennheiser, Sigma, Sonnet, Sound United, Teradek, Whisperroom, Zeiss and Sony — have made hardware and software contributions to the studio.

The space features multiple workstations, a full suite of multimedia production hardware and software, and a 4K Dolby postproduction theater. Each workstation is connected via 10 GbE to a central G-Rack NAS and features different G-Technology and SanDisk products specific to the workflows the station is designed to support.

The G-Technology Studio can be used for one-on-one customer meetings, hosted group workshops and networking events.
