Manfrotto Offers Pro Light Bumblebee Camera Bag Family

With handheld gimbal-carrying solutions, the camera accessories company launches a line of affordable, lightweight bags for videographers and photographers.

Designed for comfort, strength and affordability, Manfrotto’s new Pro Light Bumblebee series of bags debuts with four new models, two backpacks offered as a hiking solution for video and photography professionals working often in harsh or inclement conditions, plus two new messengers that can be used for smaller camera systems or for drones and peripherals. The Italian company is known for sleek product design, and all four new Pro Light Bumblebee bags are fairly versatile for their size and price point, featuring a new innovation from the company: The XtraSecure easy-access gimbal strap. Sized for handheld gimbals, the stretchable XtraSecure band will hold moving parts so that they can be accessed immediately when needed.

The same area can be used as lens compartment if not needed for drone systems. The padded internals can also be removed for use as a normal bag, too, and a stopper will divide the inner compartment into upper- and lower-deck storage compartments for even more configuration. The DuoFace sun and rain cover is doubly useful to keep packed goods dry as well as cool thanks to the reflective surface. An included NoiseFree Velcro silencer can be added to the quick-access flap to muffle noise, and it sports two bungee cords under the front flap for smaller tripods, monopods, and collapsible boom or selfie poles.

The configurable, removable divider set, called the CPS Camera Protection System, distributes weight evenly so that tension to the body is mitigated. Similarly, the neck and lower back are safeguarded by an adjustable sternum support, EasyGrip buckle for quickly maneuvering the bag’s strap, shaped hip-and-waist supports, and breathable, 3-point AirSupport harness and back panel. There’s a side handle to assist in removing and carrying the bag when fully loaded with heavy gear. Exterior pockets are elastic to carry water bottles safely on the exterior, away from inner electronics. A “NeverLose” tripod connection will secure tripods of a variety of lengths to the side.

The Pro Light Bumblebee family joins Manfrotto’s Pro Light collection of camcorder bags and element/rain covers, will accommodate up to medium-sized systems like the Canon EOS C500, JVC GY-HM750, Panasonic AJ-PX270, or Sony NEX-FS700. From backpacks to roller bags to holsters, they have several other lines of camera bags for video and still systems as well as drones.
