MSE Launches Aluminum Grid Clamps
Four styles are available, and all are compatible with the Patriot Wrench.
Matthews Studio Equipment’s Aluminum Grid Clamps are engineered for the rigging needs of film, television and live production.
The collection comprises the 3/8"-16 Aluminum Grid Clamp, the Right Angle Aluminum Grid Clamp, a Swivel Aluminum Grid Clamp and the Baby Pin Aluminum Grid Clamp. Each features wingnut mounting for secure installation and fit pipes with outer diameters ranging from 1.5" (32mm) to 2" (50mm). All Matthews Aluminum Grid Clamps are CE Certified and have received TÜV certification. All are compatible with the Patriot Wrench.
The 3/8"-16 Aluminum Grid Clamp is ideal for hanging Par cans and similar fixtures. It weighs 1.08 pounds and supports 660 pounds. The Right Angle Aluminum Grid Clamp joins two pipes at 90 degrees and can support 1,100 pounds. The Swivel Aluminum Grid Clamp adjusts to accommodate varying angles in pipe-grid configurations and can support 1,100 pounds. The Baby Pin Aluminum Grid Clamp features a 5/8" solid steel Baby Pin that's tapped with industry-standard 1/4"-20 female threads; the combined weight is 1.38 pounds.
