Nanlite Releases Rapid 90, Rapid 120
The parabolic softboxes feature a Bowens mount and can be set up and collapsed in seconds.
Nanlite has released the Rapid 90 and Rapid 120 parabolic softboxes.
With a single pull-and-press movement, users can open and lock the dome’s ribs and fabric into place. All that remains is attaching the front diffusion fabric using hook-and-loop fasteners and connecting the softbox to the lamp head using the Bowens mount. A single trigger-pull is all that’s required to collapse the dome. When packed, the Rapid 90 and Rapid 120 can be folded flat.
The Bowens mount makes the Rapid solutions compatible with Nanlite Forza, FC and FS series fixtures, and with other Bowens-mount fixtures on the market.
Included standard and lite diffusers are made of high-density, wear-resistant nylon designed to withstand the rigors of the set. The interior of each softbox features reflective fabric that intensifies the light, effectively reducing light loss and minimizing color shift. An eggcrate and carrying bag are also included.
The Nanlite Rapid 90 lists for $179, and the Nanlite Rapid 120 lists for $199.
