Nanlite Unveils PavoTube II 6XR
The eight-pixel full-color LED tube light is available singly and in an eight-light kit.
Nanlite has introduced the PavoTube II 6XR, an eight-pixel full-color tube light with CRMX control.
The 9.8"-long solution features eight individually controllable pixels; an internal, rechargeable battery as well as PD 3.0 power input; and Bluetooth, DMX/RDM and LumenRadio CRMX control. It incorporates Nanlite’s RGBWW color-mixing technology, providing a color-temperature range of 2,700-12,000K and ±150 green/magenta adjustment, and delivers 562 lux at 2'. Users can control pixel effects and adjust various parameters directly on the light or via the Nanlink App 2.0. The fixture is equipped with five lighting modes: CCT, HSI, gel, lighting effects and pixel effects. Ten built-in pixel effects allow for multi-pixel sync control.
The PavoTube II 6XR is a standard T12 tube size and weighs 10 ounces. The back of the fixture has a polygonal design, allowing it to be placed on flat surfaces without the need for additional support. Built-in magnets at both ends enable direct attachment to magnetic surfaces, and the included iron plates can be used for attachment to other surfaces. A USB-C port on the fixture supports a wide range of input voltages and currents and is compatible with the PD 3.0 protocol. The light can be used with an optional battery grip, allowing it to be powered by a single NP-F550 type battery. The solution is compatible with the existing accessory ecosystem of the PavoTube II 6C.
Nanlite has also unveiled an eight-light kit exclusively for the PavoTube II 6XR. It includes eight fixtures, modifiers, mounting accessories and a custom charging case (based on the Gutek T-230) that features an IP67 rating, a shockproof design and V-2 flame retardancy. The case supports simultaneous charging of all eight fixtures and offers three power-supply options: AC power, V-mount battery and PD adapter.
The Nanlite PavoTube II 6XR lists for $149, and the eight-light kit lists for $1,490. Nanlite is showcasing both solutions at the NAB Show in Las Vegas (Booth N2859).
