SmallHD Unveils Camera Control for Canon
The software enables users to adjust critical settings on an array of Canon cameras directly from their SmallHD monitor.
SmallHD has released Camera Control for Canon, which enables filmmakers to adjust critical camera settings directly from their SmallHD monitor.
Built on SmallHD’s PageOS platform, the software gives users the ability to view a shot, fine-tune camera settings and navigate deep Canon menu systems without leaving the monitor interface. Capabilities include adjusting shutter speed, aperture, ISO, ND, codec and trigger record start/stop; using touch-to-focus functionality; accessing and controlling the full camera menu, and combining Canon Camera Control with other PageOS monitoring tools on customizable pages.
Camera Control is currently available for these Canon EOS cameras: C300 Mark III, C500 Mark II, C400, C70 and C80. The software is supported on these monitors: Cine 5, Ultra 5/Ultra 5 RX/Ultra 5 TX, Cine 7, Cine7 500 RX/Cine7 500 TX/Cine7 SK RX, Ultra 7/Ultra 7 RX (750 and 1500)/Ultra 7 TX (750 and 1500), Ultra 10/Ultra 10 RX, Cine 13, Cine 18, Cine 24, Vision 17, Vision 24, OLED 22, OLED 27, Quantum 27 and Quantum 32.
