Thypoch Releases Ksana 21mm
The M-mount lens is designed to bring 1970s cinema aesthetics to modern still photography.
The Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5mm lens features Epoch 73 Coating, which brings a 1970s cinema aesthetic and color rendering to modern photography.
The compact, all-aluminum, M-mount lens weighs 4.6 ounces (131 grams) and features an eight-element, six-group optical design (one Aspherical, two Extra-low Dispersion and three High Refractive Index elements). The nine-blade diaphragm provides apertures from f/3.5 to f/22 for rounded highlights, with crisp, 18-point starbursts at f/4.
The lens offers an 80.2-degree horizontal field of view on full-frame cameras and a minimum focusing distance of 1.64'. A tactile reminder at 2.3' alerts users when the rangefinder uncouples, signaling a switch to EVF focusing.
The Thypoch Ksana 21mm lists for $549 and is available in black and silver.
