Venus Announces Laowa S35 Ranger Compact Cine Zooms, New Mount Options
Three S35 Ranger compact zooms are now available, and DL and XCD mounts have been added to a variety of wide-angle lenses.
Venus Optics is expanding Laowa’s Ranger Compact Cine Zoom Series with three S35 lenses and adding DL and XCD mounts for a variety of wide-angle lenses.
Laowa Ranger S35 Compact Cine Zoom lenses are now available in 11-18mm, 17-50mm and 50-130mm (all T2.9). The standard versions weigh 26-31 ounces, and the “lite” versions weigh 23-27 ounces, ensuring easy adaptation to gimbals, car rigs and handheld setups.
Standard versions of the Ranger S35 Compact Cine Zoom lenses list for $1,999 each, $5,700 for the set of three. Lite versions list for $2,499 each, $7,200 for the set of three.
Venus has also added DL mounts for Laowa’s 11mm f/4.5 FF RL and 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D full-frame lenses, and Hasselblad XCD mounts for Laowa’s 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift, 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift and 19mm f/2.8 Zero-D lenses.
