[UPDATED] 2020 ASC Student Heritage Awards Entry Process Postponed
We kindly ask for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
UPDATE: The 2020 Student Heritage Awards are now accepting submissions. You can find more information here.
The American Society of Cinematographers is firmly committed to advancing the art of cinematography and educating the next generation of filmmakers. However, due to the interrupted school year, and with the health and safety of our community at the forefront of our minds, the ASC has postponed the 2020 Student Heritage Awards entry process.
We have taken these necessary measures in order to ensure that all qualifying students receive the maximum opportunity to participate. In the meanwhile, we will continue to consult with cinema professors and will notify schools in August about our Student Heritage Awards status. Rest assured, the qualifying 2020 students and the subsequent nominees will be appropriately honored at some point in the future.
We kindly ask for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you, and we wish each one of you and your students great health!
Sincerely,
Kees van Oostrum, ASC

Isidore Mankofsky, ASC
