36th Annual ASC Golf Classic Open to all ASC Members, Associates and Guests
If you’re ready to hit the links on June 3, ACT NOW, as this event limited to only 120 people.
Golf has long been a tradition at the ASC — with top Society players including Owen Roizman, Don Burgess, Shane Hurlbut, Eric Saarinen, James Bagdonas, Bill Roe and Bobby Byrne — and this year’s tournament promises to be fun for all in attendance.
Last year marked the first time that the ASC Golf Classic was opened up to the public, and it was a tremendous success.
If you’re ready to hit the links, ACT NOW, as this event is limited to only 120 people.
Here’s our official invite for all prospective duffers:
Dear Golfer:
It’s time to dust off your clubs and brush up on your backswing, because on Monday, June 3, the ASC will hit the fairway for its 36th Annual ASC Golf Classic at the Brookside Golf Course.
Step back to an earlier time when California meant meandering streams, endless rows of trees and the occasional one-lane thoroughfare. Now step on the course at Brookside Golf Club and you’re there!
Just 200 yards north of the Rose Bowl, surrounded by the golden hills of Pasadena, lay a golf haven ranked among the top 25 in the state.
This year’s tournament will be a SCRAMBLE. Guaranteed fun for all!
All foursomes will have a shotgun start, which means we will all start at the same time — 7:30 a.m. — on 18 different holes. The afternoon will also include a BBQ lunch with all the trimmings and drinks.
Players should arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. to sign for carts, pick up a goodie bag of golf accessories and join in the camaraderie before the 7:30 a.m. start.
We will hold our wrap party and dinner at the ASC Clubhouse on Tuesday, June 11. Trophies will be presented to the winners, and those who attend the dinner will be eligible for raffle prizes.
Your entry form can be downloaded here.
We have openings for only 120 players, so make your reservations early! Don’t get squeezed out! Please feel free to invite your friends to join us. You do not need a handicap, because we will be using the Callaway Handicap System to determine your net score. Whether you are a low handicap golfer or just a hacker, don’t miss out on the fun!
We look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
The ASC Golf Committee
