ASC Open House Set for 2020
Take advantage of this opportunity to meet Society members and visit our historic Clubhouse in Hollywood.
The annual ASC Open House will take place on Saturday, January 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., where all who wish to visit our historic home in the heart of Hollywood are welcome to meet Society members, greet attending ASC Awards nominees and honorees, and examine historical photographs and items on display from the ASC Museum collection.
This event traditionally takes place the weekend before the ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography, which this year take place on January 25.
ASC Members who have attended previous Open House events include Bill Bennett, Natasha Braier, Patrick Cady, Paul Cameron, Russell Carpenter, Alan Caso, Chris Chomyn, Curtis Clark, Richard Crudo, Larry Fong, Michael Goi, Hoyte Van Hoytema, Gil Hubbs, Patti Lee, Denis Lenoir, Charlie Lieberman, Stephen Lighthill, Karl-Walter Lindenlaub, Don McCuaig, Suki Medencevic, Greg Middleton, Rachel Morrison, M. The ASC Clubhouse is located at 1782 North Orange Dr., Hollywood, CA 90028.
There is no on-site parking available, but there is ample space at the Hollywood & Highland complex, located just a block away. (The ASC does not validate for parking.)
Special ASC merchandise will be available during the event, including Our First 100 Years — a 154-page hardcover book featuring dozens of high-quality archival photos alongside the personal stories of 77 Society members — and the Leica M10-P “ASC 100 Edition.”
Be sure to get there early, as the Clubhouse does get crowded.
