BAFTA Nominates Lubezki, Yeoman

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has nominated ASC members Emmanuel Lubezki and Robert Yeoman for the BAFTA Award for Cinematography for their work on Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel, respectively.




This is Yeoman's first BAFTA nomination and Lubezki's third. Lubezki has won twice, for Children of Men and Gravity.




Also nominated for the BAFTA this year are Dick Pope, BSC, for Mr. Turner; Hoyte van Hoytema, FSF, NSC, for Interstellar; and Lukasz Zal, PSC, and Ryzsard Lenczewski, PSC, for Ida.




The BAFTA Awards ceremony will be held Feb. 8.
