You’re invited to meet cinematographer Robert McLachlan, ASC, CSC at the historic ASC Clubhouse in Hollywood on Thursday, June 8 (1:30pm-4:00pm) for a Coffee & Conversation discussion event focusing on his work in the Showtime drama Ray Donovan.
On the show, going into its fifth season, Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) is a "fixer" for Hollywood's elite. He is the go-to guy that the city's celebrities, athletes and business moguls call to make their problems disappear. It's a much more lucrative job than his previous work as a ruthless South Boston thug, vaulting him within reach of the truly wealthy and powerful. But no amount of money or the expensive things it can buy can completely mask Ray's past, a past that continues to haunt him with troubled brothers always calling and his father's (Jon Voigt) release from 20 years spent in prison.
McLachlan’s feature credits include Final Destination, Willard and Black Christmas, while his other series work includes Strange Luck, Millennium, Westworld and Game of Thrones. He is a two-time Emmy Award nominee (for Game of Thrones) and a four-time ASC Outstanding Achievement Award nominee (for Millennium and the telefilm High Noon).
The Ray Donovan discussion will be moderated by American Cinematographer contributor Jim Hemphill.
