Lachman Wins Camerimage Golden Frog for Carol

American Cinematographer will cover Carol in its upcoming December issue.

Ed Lachman, ASC, has won the 2015 Camerimage Golden Frog for the period drama Carol.




The other prize winners in the Main Competition were Sturler Brandth Grøvlen, DFF, who won the Silver Frog for Rams, and Mátyás Erdély, HSC, who won the Bronze Frog for Son of Saul.




Carol, which recently opened in U.S. theaters, is Lachman's fourth collaboration with director Todd Haynes. They previously teamed on the features Far from Heaven and I'm Not There, and the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce.




American Cinematographer will cover Carol in its December issue, and Son of Saul in its January issue.
