Shipman-Mueller, Weigert Join Associate Ranks

Marc Shipman-Mueller and Marc Weigert have joined the ASC as associate members.

Shipman-Mueller is a product manager at Arri, Inc., where he has been employed since 1996. He currently manages the Alexa camera family. He shared an Academy Technical Achievement Award with three colleagues for the design and development of the Arri 235 in 2007.

Weigert, a visual-effects supervisor, second-unit director and producer, is currently CEO of the production company Uncharted Territory, Inc., which he co-founded in 1999. He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Visual Effects on the NBC miniseries The Triangle (2005), and he has supervised and/or contributed to visual effects on the features White House Down, Anonymous, 2012 and Independence Day, among other projects.
