Young Named Kodak Cinematographer-in-Residence at UCLA
His residency will begin in December and will last 10 weeks.
Bradford Young, ASC has been named the 2015-16 Kodak Cinematographer-in-Residence at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and as part of the program, he will screen and discuss David Lowery’s Ain’t Them Bodies Saints on Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. in UCLA’s James Bridges Theater, 1409 Melnitz Hall.
Admission is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. A reception will follow the screening.
Young's residency will begin in December and will last 10 weeks. This is the 16th year of the Kodak Cinematographer-in-Residence program. Previous participants have included ASC members Mandy Walker, John Bailey, Stephen H. Burum, Dean Cundey, Joan Churchill, Roger Deakins, Guillermo Navarro and Dante Spinotti.
