Arri Releases Amira Live
Designed for multi-camera live broadcasts, the camera includes SUP 6.1 software and a 10" onboard monitor.
Arri has introduced the Amira Live, an addition to its Amira line designed specifically for multi-camera live broadcasts.
The Amira Live eliminates external cabling between the camera body and the 1820 fiber adapter, resulting in a cleaner and more reliable configuration for live productions. Featuring Arri’s ALEV III Super 35 sensor, the camera offers 14+ stops of dynamic range. Users can record in-camera for post, finishing or slow-motion effects while transmitting live HD or UHD signals.
The Amira Live comes with SUP 6.1 software, which offers improved noise reduction, increased sharpness-settings range, improved defect-pixel correction and faster boot-up. The update adds a green tally display to the viewfinder image and allows intercom talkback via the VTR or user button, facilitating easier communications when operating the camera from the shoulder.

The 10" onboard Viewfinder Multicam Monitor connects directly to the camera viewfinder or can be daisy-chained with the Camera Control Panel. It includes controls for contrast, color, backlight and peaking; an on/off switch for the frontside tally, and two camera user buttons. Accompanying the monitor is Arri’s adjustable, quick-release Monitor Yoke Support bracket.
