Bright Tangerine Announces Canon Solutions, Create Series
Accessories designed for Canon cameras, as well as a new series of universally compatible accessories, are now available.
Bright Tangerine has unveiled solutions built for the Canon EOS C400, as well as a universally compatible Create series for self-shooting producer-directors, filmmakers and content creators.
The modular Canon C400 Top Plate and additional Canon C400 Top Plate Filler can be used in separate pieces to add greater versatility to the camera. The top plate features a selection of accessory threads, including a 15mm rod console. Both top plate and filler keep the C400’s electronic multifunction shoe free to use, and the components cater to stock Canon accessories such as the microphone shockmount. The top plate filler allows for similar customization options with the added benefit of being a centrally aligned standalone, ideal for minimal camera setups.
Bright Tangerine also now offers the LeftField 3 BUD Spacer and LeftField 3 Universal BUD Riser for pairing Canon camera systems with the LeftField 3 15mm LWS Universal Baseplate for use with Arri Balanced Utility Dovetail products. The new accessories ensure correct height for 15mm LWS setups and are also compatible with Canon’s C500 Mark II, C300 Mark III and C80. The spacer makes the BUD quick-release system fully compatible with the latest Canon cameras.
The Create series comprises a Cheese Plate Adapter (1/4"-20), Narrow and Wide Cheese Plates, a 15mm Rod Mounting Bracket and a NATO Cheese Stick. These solutions are designed to be universally compatible, offering options to video creators across the market. The adapter not only angles the cheese plates, but also offsets them from the camera, providing useful clearance for wires. The accessories feature threaded 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist points for industry-standard equipment as well as multiple mounting orientations.
