Bright Tangerine Releases Halo
The universal camera-cage system mounts to 15mm rods and can bear up to 22 pounds of weight without flexing.
The Bright Tangerine Halo is a universal camera-cage system designed to be a multipurpose solution for filmmakers with multiple cameras or frequent upgrades.
Mounting to 15mm rods, the Halo is fully compatible with 15mm LWS baseplates or the Universal Dovetail, Bright Tangerine’s alternate mount for both DJI gimbals and Manfrotto tripods. The Halo can be used with any camera setup, from compact hybrid cameras to full-fledged box cameras. Its aluminum build can take up to 22 pounds of weight without flexing.
The Halo does not bolt onto the camera itself, but instead surrounds it with accessory mounting points such as 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, integrated NATO rails, Cold Shoe mounts and QD sockets. There is also the Create Baseplate, a secure mounting point for multiple plate standards (Arca, DJI and Manfrotto).
