Canon Introduces CJ27ex7.3B
The 2/3" portable lens will begin shipping in August.
Canon U.S.A., Inc., has unveiled the CJ27ex7.3B, a 2/3" portable lens with a 27x optical zoom.
The solution is classified as a UHDxs lens, Canon’s highest image-quality rating for broadcast optics. The lens offers a focal range of 7.3mm to 197mm; with a built-in 2x extender, its maximum telephoto reach increases to 394mm.
The CJ27ex7.3B features Canon’s new drive unit, the E-xs V, which has an angled 20-pin connector and a built-in USB-C connector. In addition, Focus Breathing Compensation and Automatic Restoration of Illumination Attenuation technology are supported to help minimize the effects of f-drop/ramping as the lens zooms.
The Canon CJ27ex7.3B will begin shipping in August 2024.
