Canva Integrates ShotDeck

Canva users can now search for images from ShotDeck directly within the Canva editor.

ASC Staff

ShotDeck, a searchable library of high-definition images from movies, television, music videos and commercials, has announced an integration with Canva, a free online visual-communication and collaboration platform.

The integration allows Canva users to search for images from ShotDeck directly within the Canva editor; they simply type in keywords, and ShotDeck’s database will provide a curated selection of images that fit their needs. Alternatively, if users have already created “decks” of shots within ShotDeck, those folders will be available for users to drag and drop those images into their Canva designs.

Directors, cinematographers, designers, advertising professionals, film students and educators use ShotDeck to source reference images for pitch decks and lookbooks or to discover new titles. Each of the 1.5 million+ shots is tagged and categorized with dozens of filters, including frame size, composition, light quality, etc.

Canva users can now begin exploring the ShotDeck library on the Canva App Store.
