City Theatrical Launches DMXcat-E

City Theatrical has released the DMXcat-E test tool.
The solution is the latest addition to the company’s multi-function test-tool system enabling Ethernet control of lighting fixtures. In addition to all the functions DMXcat users currently enjoy — including utilization of the free DMXcat smartphone app to plan, install, operate and maintain theatrical- and studio-lighting equipment — DMXcat-E allows users to view and send Ethernet protocols, including ArtNet and Streaming ACN.
DMXcat-E users can get started by downloading or updating the DMXcat app from the App Store or Google Play (requires Apple iOS 11+ or Android OS 6.0+). There are five new apps in the suite designed for connecting with a DMXcat-E device: Ethernet, Cable Testing, PoE Tester, Timecode and MIDI.
All new features are free to DMXcat users who connect to a DMXcat-E device. The DMXcat-E box comes with a pouch, belt clip and screw, USB-C charging cord and key ring.
