Thypoch Launches M Mount Positive-Lock Adapter Series
The solution is available in M-E, M-L, M-Z, M-RF and M-Arri versions.
Thypoch has launched the M Mount Positive-Lock Adapter Series, available in M-E, M-L, M-Z, M-RF and M-Arri versions.
Unlike traditional passive-lock adapters, which may cause lens shake or accidental detachment under demanding conditions, the Thypoch M Mount Positive-Lock Adapter utilizes a positive-lock mechanism, similar to the PL-mount standard used in cinema cameras. For added security, the adapter features a dual-lock system; the first positive lock ensures a tight connection between the lens and the adapter, and the second reinforces it, preventing accidental removal.
The Thypoch adapter features an anti-interference design customized for various camera systems. It includes a detachable handle module that can be repositioned to fit individual operating preferences or camera-button layouts. Alternatively, users can swap it for a flat, non-slip module, providing additional flexibility.
The Thypoch adapter fully supports Thypoch's Simera, Eureka and Simera-C series, as well as Leica M0.8 and Cooke SP3 lenses. The design uses aerospace-grade aluminum alloy for the mirrorless mount and high-strength stainless steel for the M-Arri Adapter. Both components are CNC-machined to ensure flawless flange distance and maintain the lens original optical performance.
The Thypoch M-E/L/Z/RF adapters list for $219 and are available now. The Thypoch M-Arri Adapter lists for $1,229 and will begin shipping in September.
