DJI has introduced the Matrice 400 drone platform.

Offering a 59-minute flight time, a payload capacity of up to 13.25 pounds and a LiDAR and mmWave radar-based obstacle-sensing system, the drone can avoid buildings and mountains while flying up to 82' per second. Its fusion-positioning system also allows it to stably fly close to glass-facade buildings or wind-turbine blades and safely return from scenes like the top of a building or mountain bases even when the return point has not been updated.

With O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission, the Matrice 400 can achieve image transmission up to 25 miles thanks to the 10-antenna system on the aircraft and a high-gain phased array antenna on the remote controller. It also has a built-in video-transmission relay module, allowing operators to use one Matrice 400 as a relay drone to provide relay signals for another Matrice 400.

The drone features four external E-Port V2 ports, allowing up to seven payloads to be mounted simultaneously (with a maximum load capacity of 13.25 pounds). It supports flexible configuration with either a single downward gimbal or a dual downward gimbal setup, and is compatible with an additional gimbal connector on the underside.
