Sigma Corp. of America has announced three lenses that will begin shipping this spring: the 15mm F1.4 DC Contemporary, the 35mm F1.4 DG II Art and the AF 28-105mm Cine T3 FF.

The 15mm is a fast-aperture prime lens designed for crop-sensor mirrorless cameras and features a dedicated aperture ring (or control ring on Canon RF Mount versions). The lens weighs 7.8 ounces, making it ideal for handheld video shooting and travel. The lens lists for $579 and is available in Sony E-Mount, Fujifilm X Mount and Canon RF Mount. It will begin shipping March 12.

The 35mm is the Type II successor to the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG DN Art and reduces the overall length by approximately 14 percent and weight by approximately 20 percent. Featuring a Dual HLA focus motor, it achieves fast and quiet autofocus with minimal focus breathing. The lens lists for $1,059 and is available in Leica L-Mount and Sony E-Mount. It will begin shipping April 16.

The 28-105mm is ideal for solo operators and small-scale production teams who require autofocus capability, yet also want the specific features found in traditional cine lenses. It features a limited-rotation ring for intuitive manual-focus capability. The adopted 0.8M pitch gears are fully compatible with video-production setups that utilize gear systems and demand follow focus. The lens lists for $3,399 and is available in Leica L-Mount and Sony E-Mount. It will begin shipping April 16.
