Fujifilm Launches X-T4
The latest model in the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras includes an Eterna Bleach-Bypass Film Simulation.
Fujifilm has launched the Fujifilm X-T4, the latest model in the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras.
The X-T4’s updated technology includes a five-axis In-Body Image Stabilization capability, a quiet shutter unit, a vari-angle LCD screen, an Eterna Bleach-Bypass Film Simulation and a large-capacity battery.
Fujifilm’s X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 comprise the camera’s core, enabling the user to produce images with wide dynamic range with lightning-fast processing and precision AF performance right down to -6EV.
The X-T4’s five-axis IBIS provides up to 6.5 stops of image stabilization and can be combined with the new four-axis Digital Image Stabilizer.
The newly developed mechanical shutter can make 26.1-megapixel images at 15 fps and is also rated for 300,000 actuations. The battery is capable of up to 600 frames per charge. The 1.62-million-pixel vari-angle touchscreen LCD can be adjusted to make it visible from a wide range of positions, and it has been designed to easily fold away, leaving the 3.69-million-pixel/100-fps electronic viewfinder to focus on the moment at hand.
The X-T4 is capable of recording both DCI 4K/60p and Full HD/240p super-slow-motion video. It is also possible to record F-Log footage in 10-bit color straight to the card. AF-C subject tracking works in low-light conditions down to -6EV.
In designing the X-T4, Fujifilm also tapped its history of color-science innovation to create a new Film Simulation mode, Eterna Bleach Bypass, which creates a desaturated, high-contrast look.
The X-T4 is available in black and silver and lists for $1,699.95.
