Matthews Introduces Grip Rail, Black Hyperchrome Matthellini

Matthews Studio Equipment has announced the Grip Rail and the Black Hyperchrome Matthellini.
Multipurpose Grip Rail (pictured above) is a telescoping, adjustable grid-pipe system. Designed to work with popular grid clamps, Matthellinis and standard pipe fittings, Grip Rail is a no-cutting alternative to complicated pipe organs.
A new spin on the Matthellini Clamp, the Black Hyper-chrome Matthellini maintains the oversized, spinning handle, but it spins faster than its predecessor. The solution still features a rugged steel shaft and dual parallel jaws (with one fixed) mounted at the base of the Baby Pin portion of the shaft. The updated hardware has been retooled for better functionality and enhanced durability.
Matthews has also unveiled new adapters for its Litemover universal remote head that make it compatible with a dozen fixtures. Crews tasked with positioning lights and reflector boards weighing up to 220 pounds can now use Litemover with such lights as Arri Skypanel, X21, X22/X2; Arri Orbiter, and Arri Rental Briklok. Adapters are also available for Cineo R15, Powerbeam, Creamsource Vortex, SumoLight SumoMax, K5600, Filmgear and Fiilex Q10.
