Matthews Studio Equipment has introduced the Moving Light Stand Adapter "Cotone Mount.”
The solution is compatible with moving fixtures from Chauvet, Elation, Martin, Robe and more, as well as all popular stands and lifts. It weighs about 4 pounds and can support lights weighing up to 250 pounds.
The mount converts a standard Omega Bracket to a 1-1/8" Jr Pin or 5/8" Baby Receiver, enabling quick mounting on standard grip equipment. The T-shaped adapter is made of steel, permanently welded and finished in black zinc. Its dual-slotted plate (3.67" min.–11.50" max.) accepts a range of mounting hardware and includes a nut, bolt and washer. The knurled Baby Pin is hard-welded to the apex of the T for maximum durability. A threaded insert for the T-Handle and safety hole for a Cotter or lynch pin are also featured.
