Matthews Releases Patriot Wrench
The solution features the seven most common industry-specific cutouts intended to work with standard grip and lighting equipment.
Matthews Studio Equipment has unveiled the Patriot Wrench, which features the seven most common industry-specific cutouts intended to work with standard grip and lighting equipment.
Designed in cooperation with Local 80 operator and Patriot Camera Cars owner Aaron Hammel, the Patriot Wrench is a solution for most cranking, tightening and wrenching scenarios. It is built from 6061-T6 aluminum and is Type III hardcoat-anodized, making it lightweight and robust.
It features a low-profile wingnut wrench, four hex-nut cutouts — 7/8", 9/16", 1/2" and 3/8" — and two square-nut cutouts for pipe clamps in 5/16" and 1/2" sizes. A lanyard hole offers options for safe securement to wrist, body or tool belt.
The Patriot Wrench lists for $45 and is available from MSE and MSE dealers.
