Nanlite has unveiled the Precision 18°-36° Zoom FM Mount Projection Attachment.
Developed specifically for Nanlite FM-mount LED spotlights, the solution uses aspherical glass to achieve sharp edges and even illumination, with consistent performance across the zoom range. The aspherical optic minimizes aberrations and helps to achieve 97% beam uniformity and 96% CCT accuracy, with only 3 percent distortion (measured at an 18-degree beam angle).
The advanced lens coating improves light transmission and aids color accuracy, ensuring minimal color shift. The matte-black inner barrel reduces internal reflections and stray light. Beam adjustment is achieved via a large zoom ring. The projection attachment has its own yoke that enhances stability when combined with a fixture; it also allows the setup to tilt significantly downward.
The FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° increases a fixture’s illuminance by up to 21x and is fully compatible with FM-mount COB fixtures. The adjustable beam angle allows users to fine-tune the size and focus of the light without needing to swap lenses. The lens barrel supports 360-degree rotation. The housing is primarily aluminum alloy with nylon components.
The Nanlite FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° lists for $589. The kit includes a padded carrying bag, a proprietary-size gobo holder, four gobos, and a universal M-size gobo holder.
