Pro8mm Announces Lens Services for Kodak Super 8 Camera
A package for the Angénieux 8-64mm is now available, and the company is beta-testing one for the Schneider 6-66mm.
Pro8mm in Burbank, Calif., has announced a lens-service package for the new Kodak Super 8 Camera that includes an Angénieux 8-64mm F1.8 lens and collimation and installation on the camera.
The Angénieux 8-64mm was designed for Super 8 cinematography and has a focus range of 3' to Infinity; this includes a Macro Function that can focus as close as 1mm from the lens. The lens will not vignette with the Max 8 (16:9 image capture) frame.
The Pro8mm Angénieux 8-64mm package for the Kodak Super 8 Camera costs $1,495 (plus shipping) and includes the lens and collimation and installation services. The camera must be shipped to Pro8mm. The work is typically completed within two weeks.
Pro8mm is currently beta-testing a similar service for the Schneider 6-66mm lens.
