Rosco Introduces Link Mounting System
The new accessory for Maxi Mix LEDs gives lighting technicians the ability to create large soft sources quickly and easily.
DMG Lumière by Rosco announces the Link mounting system, a new accessory for its recently introduced Maxi Mix LED soft-light fixture.
The Link system allows for an infinite number of Maxi Mix fixtures to be tiled together. Featuring a quick-lock system, it gives lighting technicians the ability to create large walls of powerful, soft light. Link is composed of two parts; the Link2 will connect the corners of two fixtures, and the Link4 will connect the corners of four fixtures.
The Link mounting system offers modularity, flexibility and a faster workflow. Designed by lighting technicians at DMG Lumière by Rosco, the system locks Maxi Mix fixtures quickly and securely into place with a quarter-turn action.
“We are excited to introduce the Link system, a simple solution that creates infinite possibilities,” says Nils de Montgrand, vice president of DMG Lumière by Rosco. “It is one of the most innovative mechanical solutions we have engineered and is born out of feedback from lighting technicians.”
Announced at this year’s NAB Show, the Maxi Mix offers a large light emission of 47” x 18” x 3”, with 360 watts of Mix technology. Mix technology is composed of six chips (Red, Lime, Green, Blue, Amber and White) and state-of-the-art communication technology, including Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/DMX and Lumen Radio Wireless DMX.
