SmallHD has announced the Quantum 32 OLED monitor.
The 31.5" quantum-dot monitor is the result of a partnership between SmallHD and Samsung Display Corp. to create an HDR reference monitor that meets the requirements of motion-picture production and postproduction.
Pioneered by Samsung, quantum-dot OLED panels directly emit narrow-spectrum RGB light evenly in all directions, providing uniform luminance up to 1,000 nits, extending color-gamut coverage to over 90 percent of BT.2020, and enabling an exceptionally wide viewing angle.
The Quantum 32 features a new central processor with custom-designed architecture running PageOS, SmallHD’s operating system.
