SmallHD Releases 702 Touch
Integrated with Teradek RT, the 7" monitor is available now.
SmallHD has announced the 702 Touch, a professional 7" 1920x1200 monitor that features a daylight-viewable 1,500-nit panel and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
Integrated with Teradek RT, the monitor allows users to connect a CTRL.1 or CTRL.3 controller for real-time lens data overlays, which show critical follow-focus information on the screen, including lens focal distance, focal length, iris and zoom.
The 702 Touch has a low-profile design, and its signal and power options allow the on-camera monitor to fit seamlessly into any workflow. With ports well protected by the aluminum chassis, the 702 Touch offers two 3G-SDI inputs, a 3G-SDI output, an HDMI input/output, and four mounting points. Wide-range DC input (10-34V, 2A) allows for system power, while several battery brackets provide additional flexibility. (The Sony L Series is included; Gold Mount and V-Mount are available separately.)
The monitor’s touchscreen supports five simultaneous touches and controls the monitor’s SmallHD OS3 software and PageBuilder interface. The OS3 toolset provides a variety of on-screen functions, including customizable HD Waveform, Vectorscope, False Color, Focus Assist/Peaking, Anamorphic De-squeeze, Framing Guides and storage of unlimited 3-D LUTs via SD card.
702 Touch is available now via SmallHD’s website and from the company’s global network of resellers and partners. The list price is $1,299.
