Sony Electronics has unveiled two lenses: the 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS full-frame zoom and the 16mm F1.8 G full-frame prime.

The 400-800mm E-Mount lens is designed for birding, wildlife and sports photography. It extends Sony’s focal-length range beyond 600mm for the first time and is compatible with Sony’s 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, allowing for an extended reach of up to 1,600mm. The lens features six ED glass elements to minimize chromatic aberration, an 11-blade circular aperture for smooth bokeh, and Optical SteadyShot stabilization.

The Sony 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS will begin shipping this month and will list for $2,899.99.

The 16mm F1.8 G features an F1.8 aperture, two Advanced Aspherical and multiple ED glass elements, and an 11-blade diaphragm. Silent XD linear motors provide quick autofocus, and optimized video features enhance cinematic performance.

The Sony 16mm F1.8 G will be available in April and will list for $799.99.
