Sony Updates Camera Remote SDK
V1.12 introduces WiFi capability and enables remote control of 29 digital cameras.
Sony Electronics has released Camera Remote SDK v1.12.
The update introduces Wi-Fi capability and enables remote control of 29 digital cameras. Sony has removed restrictions on third-party software development and supports the creation of software that remotely controls its digital cameras, including shooting, monitoring and file transfer.
V1.12 also expands the capabilities of compatible models (Alpha 1, Alpha 7S III and Alpha7 IV) and now supports the α9 III, a full-frame interchangeable-lens camera with Global Shutter technology.
