Teradici CAS Adds Mac Support
Users can remotely access their Mac computer as if they were on a local machine.
Teradici, the creator of PCoIP technology and Cloud Access Software, has announced general availability of Teradici CAS with support for the Mac. For the first time, users can remotely access their Mac as if they were on a local machine, with the resolution and color fidelity they need to maintain the highest quality.
Media and creative professionals continue to work in remote and hybrid office settings, making seamless, secure, remote access to applications critical. With Teradici CAS, Mac users can now access their high-performance workflows — including VFX, animation, structural design and video editing — from anywhere. Using the Teradici PCoIP remote display protocol to transfer only pixels, corporate assets remain securely located in industry-compliant, on-site content networks.

Teradici CAS supports knowledge-worker and power-user use cases for Macs running either Catalina or Big Sur in on-premises data center and cloud environments. All existing PCoIP endpoints with MacOS clients, Windows clients, Linux clients, PCoIP Zero Clients and PCoIP-enabled thin clients can connect to a MacOS host, giving IT administrators complete control of their infrastructure to choose any data center, endpoint, OS and application combination.
