Kinotehnik Practilite 802
NAB 2018: A new compact solution with “roughly 50%” more power than 1' x 1' LED panels.
A new Practilite LED panel will be highlighted by Kinotehnik this year at NAB. The Kinotehnik Practilite 802 is the company’s first bi-color panel light, though they offer several bi-color solutions with variable 3000-6000K color temperature, including the Practilite 602 3.2" fresnel (covering 15-75 degrees) and the Practilite 604 variable beam light with DMX and smartphone control from both iOS and Google.
Offering ENG, documentaries, reality TV production and event videography the “portable” (14.5 x 8.7 x 2“) "half panel" unit has silent cooling and IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Kinotehnik says it is usable in any condition, and includes waterproof power connection, as well. With built-in 30-degree lens array and two state-of-the-art rigid diffusers 60 and 90 degrees, the Practilite 802 is rated by Kinotehnik at 1860 fc with open spread 30-degree beam, and 370 fc at 90-degree beam, or fully diffused.
Up to six lights can be controlled through Bluetooth connections, and the metal housing has integrated heat sync or quite, passive cooling. Headquartered in Tartu, Estonia, the European company’s products are available through Manios Digital & Films in the United States. During NAB, Manios will be found in the Central Hall, Booth C9020.
